Reportage Photography in Saxony – how I work

Reportages across Saxony: For state institutions, associations and companies throughout Saxony I photograph reportages – from state parliament events to the trades business in the Ore Mountains.

From Dresden I can reach any place in Saxony within two hours at most – for assignments outside Saxony I travel throughout Germany. For multi-day reportages in Saxony, I schedule sessions to cover different times of day and situations.

Reportage means looking closely, not staging. I accompany people, projects and places for hours or days and tell in pictures what really happens there – for annual reports, magazines, campaigns by state authorities and associations, for foundations and companies that want to show their work instead of just claiming it.

Among others, this has resulted in reportages for Saxony’s Commissioner for Inclusion, for cultural projects in Kamenz and for companies from Dresden to Schwerin. The photos work individually as lead images and as a series in print.
