Reportage Photography in Dresden – how I work

Reportages in Dresden: For state authorities, the Saxon State Parliament, associations, cultural institutions and companies in Dresden, I have photographed reportages about everyday work, projects and events.

My studio is in Dresden’s Neustadt district at Leipziger Straße 33 – there are no travel costs within the city. For multi-day reportages in Dresden, I schedule sessions to cover different times of day and situations.

Reportage means looking closely, not staging. I accompany people, projects and places for hours or days and tell in pictures what really happens there – for annual reports, magazines, campaigns by state authorities and associations, for foundations and companies that want to show their work instead of just claiming it.

Among others, this has resulted in reportages for Saxony’s Commissioner for Inclusion, for cultural projects in Kamenz and for companies from Dresden to Schwerin. The photos work individually as lead images and as a series in print.
