This website is a static website without user accounts, without tracking cookies and without third-party analytics services. No personal data is transmitted to advertising networks. Fonts and images are delivered directly from this website, not from external servers.
3. Access data (server log files)
When you visit this website, the hosting provider automatically processes information transmitted by your browser: IP address (shortened or deleted after a short time), date and time of access, page accessed, referrer URL, browser type and operating system. This data serves exclusively to ensure the trouble-free operation and security of the website. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure operation). The log files are deleted after 7 days at the latest, unless a security-relevant incident requires longer storage.
4. Contacting me
If you contact me by email or phone, I process the data you provide (name, email address, phone number, content of the inquiry) to handle your inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. The contact form on this website does not store any data on the server; it merely opens your own email program with the details you entered. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for processing and no statutory retention obligations apply.
5. External links
This website contains links to external websites: Instagram and LinkedIn (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. and LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company), Google Maps (Google Ireland Ltd.) and a WhatsApp link (WhatsApp Ireland Ltd.) for direct contact. When you click on them, you leave this website; only then is data – for example your IP address – transmitted to the respective provider, in some cases to countries outside the EU. The respective provider is responsible for data processing on the linked pages. No content from these providers is embedded automatically, and no data is transmitted to them when you simply visit this website.
6. Local storage in the browser
This website does not set cookies. It only stores in your browser’s local storage (localStorage) when you last opened the blog – so that new posts can be marked as “new” once. This information remains on your device, is not transmitted to me or third parties and contains no personal data. You can delete it at any time via your browser settings.
7. Hosting
This website is operated by a hosting provider with whom – where necessary – a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR exists. The provider processes access data exclusively on my behalf for the purpose of providing the website.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). To exercise these rights, please use the contact details above. All photographs shown on this website were published with the consent of the persons depicted or as part of commissioned work with the corresponding approval. If you are shown in a picture and would like it removed, an informal message to studio@danielmadlungdesign.de is sufficient.
