If you’re looking for a web designer in Dresden, you’ll mainly find two kinds: agencies with project managers and timesheets – or website-builder sites that look like a thousand others. I work in between: as a digital designer with my own studio in the Neustadt, I design and build your website myself, from the first sketch to launch. You have one contact person, a fixed-price quote and in the end a site that suits you.
The difference to most web designers: I’m also a photographer. I take the pictures on your website myself – portraits, rooms, products, work scenes – tailored to the layout. No stock photos, no licensing questions, no pictures squeezed “somehow” into the grid. And because I do corporate design and print just as much, your website, business card and poster fit together in the end.

How your website is created.
1. Conversation
Goals, target group, competition, search terms. Afterwards you get a fixed-price quote with a page structure.
2. Design
Two drafts for the homepage – color, typography, imagery. You decide, I develop the favorite.
3. Photos & copy
Photo shoot at your location; I draft the copy with AI support and revise it together with you.
4. Build & launch
Build, SEO basics, Google Business Profile, domain and hosting – then the site goes live, with an introduction.
Frequently asked questions for a web designer in Dresden
Web designer or agency – what makes more sense for a small business?
A single web designer is the more direct route: you talk to the person who designs and builds your site, there’s no project management in between and no coordination loops between departments. That’s faster and cheaper. An agency is worthwhile if you need a large portal, a shop with many interfaces or ongoing campaigns.
How long does it take until my website is online?
A compact website is online in two to three weeks, a multi-page company website in four to eight weeks – mainly depending on how quickly copy and approvals come from your side. On request I take the photos myself, which usually saves a week.
Will my website be found on Google?
Yes, that’s part of every project: clean page structure, search terms in headings and copy, meta data, structured data, fast load times and setting up your Google Business Profile. For local searches like “physiotherapy Dresden” or “tax advisor Radebeul” that’s the foundation. Plus optimization for AI search such as ChatGPT (GEO) – no serious web designer guarantees first place.
Can I maintain the website myself later?
If you change content regularly, I build the site with a content management system in which you edit texts and images yourself – with a short introduction. If things rarely change, a static website is the faster and lower-maintenance choice; I then take care of changes at short notice.
Do you use AI in development?
Yes, to be honest: technology, search engine optimization and draft copy are created with AI support – that makes implementation faster and cleaner. I design each site individually by hand, the copy is revised together with you, and the photos are real: taken by me, not generated.
Do you only work in Dresden?
My studio is in Dresden’s Neustadt district, and most clients come from Dresden, Radebeul, Meissen, Pirna and the surrounding area. But websites can be created just as well remotely – I work with clients in Leipzig, Chemnitz and outside Saxony via video call. I only come by in person for the photo shoot.
How much does a web designer in Dresden cost?
With me, a website with design, copy and launch starts at €600 net, with your own photo shoot at €1,200 net. Larger company websites with several subpages start at €1,600 net without a shoot; projects with a content management system are calculated individually. You get a fixed-price quote in advance – I don’t charge hourly rates for websites. All prices net, plus 19% VAT.
