Graphic Design in Dresden – how I work

As a graphic designer in Dresden, I design for companies, clubs, municipalities, festivals and cultural institutions: logos and corporate design, posters and flyers, magazines, brochures, books and social media graphics. From the dental practice in Striesen to tech companies in Klotzsche, law firms in the old town and trades businesses in Pieschen – Dresden companies of all sizes use my photos to show who works for them.

The advantage for clients in Dresden: photography and design come from a single source. For a poster, an image brochure or a recruiting campaign, I shoot on site and then design – studio in Dresden-Neustadt, no travel costs.

I’m a digital designer and photographer in one person – and that’s the difference: when I design a poster, a magazine or a campaign, the images for it are created at the same time. No searching for stock photos, no break between photo and layout. For more than ten years I’ve been designing corporate identities, logos, posters, magazines, books, flyers, vinyl covers, murals and social media graphics in my own design studio in Dresden’s Neustadt district.

This includes, for example, the entire visual identity of the DAVE Festival for club culture in Dresden – posters, program magazine, folders – for more than three years, the campaign posters for Dresden’s sustainability festival “Dear Future” for two years, editorial design for yearbooks, museum folders and logos for companies from Dresden and Saxony. I work with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Figma – print-ready, right up to coordination with the print shop.

How it works: Graphic Design in Dresden.

  1. Briefing & concept

Target group, message, formats, budget. I present two or three design directions as drafts – usually within a week.

  2. Design & photography

Developing the chosen direction, if needed with a dedicated photo shoot for images that fit the layout exactly.

  3. Final artwork & production

Print files, coordination with the print shop, web and social media formats. On request, I take care of the entire production.

FAQ – Graphic Designer in Dresden

Can I book photography and design together?

Yes – that’s my core offering. For campaigns, posters, brochures and websites I shoot the images myself and then design. That saves coordination and stock photo costs and ensures a consistent look.

Do you also handle printing and production?

Yes, on request. I get quotes from print shops in Dresden and Saxony, check proofs and deliver the finished print run – from poster to book.

Do I get the open files?

Print-ready PDFs are always included. I hand over open InDesign, Illustrator or Figma files by arrangement, for example for your in-house marketing.
