Event Photography in Saxony – how I work
As an event photographer across Saxony, I regularly work at corporate events, award ceremonies, anniversaries and networking evenings. From the Leipzig Trade Fair to the Kulturpalast Dresden and country inns in Upper Lusatia – I photograph events throughout Saxony and travel across Germany for congresses, galas and festivals.
From Dresden I can reach any place in Saxony within two hours at most – for assignments outside Saxony I travel throughout Germany. For events in Saxony, I plan travel and setup so that I’m on site well before doors open.
An event can’t be repeated. The handshake on stage, the first toast, the look into a packed house – everything happens exactly once. My job is to photograph these moments so they work afterwards in the press release, on LinkedIn, in the annual report and in sponsor reporting.
I work discreetly, without a storm of flashes and without staged group lineups every ten minutes. Instead: fast lenses, two cameras and a feel for where something is about to happen. What you get: a complete photo story from setup to the last guest – not just the stage.

Briefing

On site
I arrive before the first guest, know the lighting and work my way quietly through the event.

How quickly do we get the photos?
On request, I deliver a small selection for social media and press on the evening of the event. You’ll usually receive the complete edited gallery within 3 to 5 working days.
May we use the photos for press, website and social media?
Yes. Use for your own corporate communications – website, social media, press, print, internal communications – is included in the fee. Only passing photos on to third parties for advertising purposes is agreed separately.
How do you handle data protection and guests who don’t want to be photographed?
I recommend a note in the invitation and at the entrance. Guests who don’t want to be photographed get a discreet marker – and I pay attention to it. If needed, I deliver the photos sorted by person so that approvals are easy to obtain.
How far is the journey to Saxony?

How much does an event photographer cost in Saxony?
I charge for event photography by the hour or as a flat rate: €160 net per hour, half day (up to 4 hours) €590 net, day rate (up to 8 hours) €1,150 net – each including photo selection, editing and delivery of the photos, plus travel costs. Event organizers, clubs and schools get individual prices. All prices net, plus 19% VAT.
