Real Estate, Hotel & Practice Photography in Dresden – how I work

As a real estate photographer in Dresden, I photograph holiday apartments, hotels, guesthouses and apartment buildings – for hosts, landlords, owners and property managers. Holiday apartments in the Neustadt and on the Elbe slopes, hotels in the old town, Wilhelminian-era buildings in Striesen and Löbtau – Dresden has accommodation and properties with character.

My studio is in Dresden’s Neustadt district – there are no travel costs within the city. I schedule shoots around the daylight; for holiday apartments, ideally between two bookings.

For a holiday apartment or a hotel room, the first photo decides whether someone keeps clicking. I photograph rooms the way guests should experience them: bright, tidy, with straight lines and honest colors – so the pictures deliver on what the place promises.

Besides the overviews, I photograph the details that make a place special: freshly made beds, the set table, the old front door, the view from the window. Plus the building from outside. For doctors’, dental and therapy practices, I photograph reception, waiting area and treatment rooms; for owners and property managers, entire properties – from the facade to the stairwell and elevator down to the basement.

FAQ – Real Estate Photographer in Dresden

How do I prepare my holiday apartment for the shoot?

Make the beds with fresh linen, clear the surfaces in kitchen and bathroom, tidy away cables and remote controls, check all lamps. Fresh flowers or a set table help with the detail shots. I’ll send you a short checklist in advance.

Do you also photograph hotels, guesthouses and entire buildings?

Yes – from a single holiday apartment to hotels and guesthouses to an apartment building with stairwell, elevator and outdoor areas. For hotels, I plan the shoot so that day-to-day operations are disturbed as little as possible.

May we use the photos on booking platforms and our own website?

Yes. Use for your own marketing – website, booking platforms such as Booking.com or Airbnb, social media, brochures and print – is included in the fee. Passing the photos on to third parties, such as estate agents or agencies, is agreed separately.
