The most common worry before a team shoot: “That will paralyze us for a whole day.” It doesn’t have to. With a clear schedule, each person needs about ten minutes – and the rest of the company keeps working.
1. Preparation (one week before)
We clarify three things by phone or video call:
- What are the photos needed for? Website team page, LinkedIn, recruiting ads, brochure – that determines format and crop.
- Which look? A neutral background (white, gray, a color matching your corporate design) or the real work environment with soft blur.
- Where do we set up? I need a room of about 4 × 5 meters for the mobile studio – meeting room, canteen, storage area.
You get a short info sheet from me for your team: clothing, schedule, what to expect.
2. The shoot day
Setup takes about 45 minutes. Then I photograph one person every 10 minutes according to a schedule that you share with everyone in advance. Whoever’s turn it is comes by briefly; everyone else keeps working. For 30 people we need half a day, for 100 people a day and a half.
After the portraits, I photograph work scenes and team photos – about an hour in which small groups are shown at their workplaces.
3. Selection and delivery
Within three working days you get an online gallery. Each person picks their favorite photo (or you choose centrally). I retouch subtly – blemishes, lint, distracting reflections – and deliver all photos in the same format: portrait for the team page, square for LinkedIn, cut out if your template needs it.
4. Follow-up shoots
I photograph new employees later in the same look. I document lighting, distance and settings so that the photo from 2027 doesn’t look different from the one from 2026.
